This Privacy Policy describes how TapLink ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application TapLink (the "App").

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We do not directly collect any personal information from you.

The App uses the following third-party services that may collect data:

a) Google AdMob

Displays advertisements within the App
May collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads

b) Firebase Analytics

Collects anonymous usage data such as session duration, screens visited, and in-app events (e.g. puzzle started, puzzle completed)
No personally identifiable information is collected

c) Firebase Remote Config

Used to remotely toggle app features (e.g. enabling/disabling ads)
Does not collect personal information

DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

The App stores the following data locally on your device only using SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device:

Your current level progress
Best streak and total taps
Dark/light mode preference
Haptics on/off preference
Daily challenge completion status

ADVERTISING

The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings:

Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

IN-APP PURCHASES

The App offers a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase processed through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store any payment information. All transactions are handled entirely by Google Play.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
